NOTICE OF COMPETITION TWO SCHOLARSHIPS FOR THESIS IN FAMILY LAW
Notice of competition for the assignment of n. 2 scholarships of the amount of €. 1.500,00 (one thousand five hundred) each reserved for undergraduates and graduates of the master's degree course at single cycle in Law at the Faculties of Law of Italian universities with a thesis on comparative and international family law.
Art. 1 - Object
The Cecatiello Law Firm, with headquarters in Milan Via Giuseppe Sacchi 3, for the academic year 2022/23, proposes the following "Competition notice for the assignment of n. 2 scholarships of the amount of €. 1.500,00 (one thousand five hundred) each reserved for graduates and undergraduates of the single-cycle master's degree course in Law at the Law Faculties of Italian universities with a dissertation on comparative and international family law".
Article 2 - Recipients
The Call is aimed at students who graduated in the academic years 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 in the single-cycle master's degree course in Law at the Law Faculties of Italian Universities.
The scholarships covered by this call are intended to favor students of the aforementioned course of study who have shown interest in family law in an international and comparative context.
Art. 3 – Commission of selection and evaluation criteria
The evaluation of the candidates and the choice of the winner will be entrusted to a special Commission made up of a university professor and two members of the Cecatiello Law Firm.
The scholarships will be awarded to the most deserving candidate with the possibility of starting professional practice at Studio Cecatiello.
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the following evaluation criteria:
average of the exams passed, evaluation of the paper presented, coherence with the topic, originality of the treatment and particular preference for comparative law papers.
Applications for admission, to be filled in on the appropriate form available on the website of the Law Firm Cecatiello (www.cecatiello.it), must be sent by e-mail in "pdf" format to the following e-mail address: "studio@cecatiello.it" , by 30 June 2023 accompanied by a self-declaration of the qualification obtained and the exams taken with grades, CV and copy of the degree thesis and authorization to process personal data.
Art. 4 – Method of payment
The scholarships will be paid in a lump sum within the month of October 2023. The winners will be notified of the outcome in writing and must communicate their acceptance within 15 days in the manner that will be indicated.
Art. 5 – Privacy information and tax treatment
The personal data collected will be processed in compliance with the European Union regulation on data protection – GDPR General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 25.05.2018 and Legislative Decree 196/2003 and subsequent amendments and additions.
We inform you that, in compliance with the provisions of art. 50 TUIR, income deriving from scholarships, checks, bonuses and subsidies paid for study purposes constitute income assimilated to employee income.
